In the heart of the ruins of Kintzheim (Bas-Rhin), la Volerie des Aigles invites you to come and see eagles, vultures, black kites, falcons, buzzards, owls… from every continent.
The first Volerie created in France in 1968, its aim is to rehabilitate the image of birds of prey for the general public. More than just a guided flight presentation, the Volerie des Aigles raises awareness of the biodiversity and conservation of birds of prey.
In 1979, it created the first breeding center in France, which breeds different species of birds of prey every year to ensure their preservation. It supports various conservation associations by setting up awareness-raising campaigns, and participates in the reintroduction of certain species into their environment.
